The award includes a prize of €2000 (donated by the publishers De Gruyter Brill, Narr/Francke/Attempto and Peter Lang) to support young academics in their research work in applied linguistics. It is awarded biennially to an early career scholar, whose research project shows a particularly strong focus on research application.
